We are closing down. Please email us to see what we have left and to arrange a time to collect.
Numbers of some varieties are very limited.
Maiden Trees - $35
Maiden trees are one-year-old trees. They will take a few years before they will bear fruit, but being young they are the best starting point if you wish to train your own espaliered tree.
Espaliered Trees - Starting From $90
These trees will be at least 2 years old and in most cases older. Espaliered trees are great for those with small spaces. All our espaliers are sold in grow bags. You can keep them in these if you wish, transplant them into a pot, or plant them in your garden. Every espalier comes with a hand-stamped copper tag so that you will always remember the variety.
When you purchase an espalier we will provide you with some instructions on how to prune and care for them so that you can keep them looking their best.

Scion wood is new growth from one variety of tree that can be grafted onto another similar tree or rootstock. Grafting is done for various reasons:
To control the size of the tree;
To get an exact clone of a fruit tree;
To make the tree more resilient to disease or tolerant of different soils; or
To have more than one variety of fruit on the same tree.
Please note that the collecting, selling, and using of scion wood is very seasonal. Wood for deciduous fruit trees must be collected in winter when the tree is dormant. It is then stored in a cool, moist environment until early spring. Inside a plastic bag, in your fridge is a great place. Usually, the first few weeks of September is the best time for grafting.
If you would like to try your hand at grafting and would like to purchase our scion wood please email us or use the order form above. Depending on timing we can collect specific scion wood for you, otherwise we can let you know what we have available.
